This product can be used across your entire lawn but is also great for areas where road salt washed from the road into your lawn over winter.
Na-X is a soluble electrolyte solution which reduces excess sodium salt levels and stimulates biological activity in soils. Sodium accumulations in soil replace calcium, destroying soil structure by dispersing soil colloids.
As a result, water infiltration, percolation, and soil aeration are reduced. Seed germination is inhibited by high sodium levels and root growth is generally reduced.
The high levels of free exchangeable calcium ions in Na-X displace sodium ions absorbed on cation exchange sites of soil colloids restoring soil structure and preventing sodium build-up for vigorous turf growth. It is also an excellent source of calcium for turf. Na-X is ideal for tank spraying or fertigation.

Application Instructions:
Option 1:
Apply 32 to 64 oz. of product in 2.5 gal. of water per 1000 sq. ft. of turf, or 10 to 22 gal. of product in 30 to 50 gal. of water.
Water in after application.
Repeat applications every two weeks until sodium drops to an acceptable level.
Option 2:
Another way you could apply is in lighter apps using a pump or battery sprayer over several days. Use 8 oz. of concentrate in 1 gallon of water and apply it to your parkway, then water it in.
Repeat this everyday for 4 days in a row.
Do not mix with sulfates or phosphates. Shake well before using
Does NaX 5-0-0 need to be watered in?
- Yes. Apply 1/4" of water from irrigation or rainfall to move NaX 5-0-0 into the soil.
Can I apply fertilizer or Essential-G on the same day as NaX 5-0-0?
- Yes. We recommend that fertilizer and Essential-G be applied before NaX 5-0-0.
Can I apply other liquids and NaX 5-0-0 on the same day?
- Yes. We recommend applying other liquids like biostimulants and fertilizer before NaX 5-0-0. Do not mix with sulfates or phosphates.
