This is the non-granular version of our Essential-G product. It is is designed for turf and ornamental establishment as well as top dressing. CarbonizPN is one of the best soils for seeding and bare spot repair.

CarbonizPN Soil Enhancer uses Mirimichi Green's CarboMatrix™ Technology. The activated carbon (biochar) is inoculated with premium organics. It reduces soil compaction, drives root growth, increases fertility, and water absorption. The biochar decreases nutrient leaching.
Adding CarbonizPN Soil Enhancer to your lawn increases the number of beneficial microorganisms. CarbonizPN™ is designed to be used for top dressing and new turf establishment. It can be applied when timing is appropriate for top dressing your lawn. For cool season lawns, (Kentucky Bluegrass, Perennial Ryegrass and Turf Type Tall Fescue), this is going to be spring and fall.
For warm season lawns, (Bermuda, Zoysia, St Augustine, Centipede and Bahia), most top dressing is done in the late spring and summer months (May - August) The formulation spreads easily with a leveling rake and contains no foreign material to slow down the top dressing process.
How to Use CarbonizPN™ for Top Dressing Instructional Video
CarbonizPN can be used on all grass types, such as the following:
Cool Season Lawns - Kentucky Bluegrass, Turf Type Tall Fescue (all fescues), Ryegrass
Warm Season Lawns - Bermuda, St Augustine, Zoysia, Centipede, Bahia

Coverage: 40 lb. bag covers 1000 square feet when used for soil enhancement. Apply 2 - 4 bags per 1000 square feet when used for top dressing.
Water-in Instructions: Apply to a dry lawn. Product does not need to be watered in immediately after application. Wait for it to rain or water-in when you apply your granular fertilizer.
Application Method: CarbonizPN is applied manually using a shovel or with a top dressing machine. It cannot be applied using a traditional broadcast spreader.
For a granular biostimulant than can be applied with a broadcast spreader, use Essential-G .

Does CarbonizPN need to be watered in?
- Product does not need to be watered in immediately after application. Wait for it to rain or water-in when you apply your granular fertilizer.
Can I apply fertilizers on the same day as CarbonizPN?
- Yes. We recommend that CarbonizPN be applied before granular fertilizer.
Can I apply liquids and CarbonizPN on the same day?
- Yes. We recommend applying granular products before liquids. So you would apply CarbonizPN and other granulars, followed by your liquid products.
