The herbicide needs to be activated prior to weed germination for most effective control. For maximum activity against germinating weeds, Specticle FLO requires rainfall or irrigation prior to weed germination.

When to Apply: Late Summer / Early Fall. Water in after application.

Product is safe for warm season lawns. Do not apply to cool season grass.

Does Specticle FLO need to be watered in?

  • Yes. Apply 1/4" of water from irrigation or rainfall to move Specticle FLO into the soil.

Can I apply fertilizer or Essential-G on the same day as Specticle FLO?

  • Yes. We recommend that fertilizer and Essential-G be applied before Specticle FLO.

How often do I need to apply Specticle FLO to prevent lawn weeds?

  • We recommend applying Specticle FLO once per year in the fall. 

Can I apply other liquids and and Specticle FLO on the same day?

  • Yes. We recommend applying other liquid products before Specticle FLO.
