Quinclorac 75 DF herbicide is an excellent broadleaf and grassy weed killer for warm and cool season turf. It provides superior control for crabgrass. It can also be used for post-emergence control of more than 20 broadleaf weed and grass species.

Quinclorac herbicide is a weed killer for warm and cool season turfgrass like Bermudagrass, Kentucky Bluegrass, Buffalograss, Tall Fescue, Ryegrass and Zoysia. If you're trying to get rid of crabgrass, it's an excellent choice.

Quinclorac 75 DF is a selective post-emergent herbicide that kills broadleaf and grassy weeds. It provices superior cragbrass control in tolerant turgrasses like Bermudagrass, Kentucky Bluegrass, Buffalograss, Tall Fescue, Ryegrass and Zoysia.

This herbicide should NOT be used on Bahiagrass, Centipede or St. Augustine lawns.

The product label provides detailed guideance as to when Quinclorac can be used during seeding including overseeding of established turfgrass, during renovation, or bare ground seeding. Weeds are expected to die and wither within 3 weeks from the application, turning the weeds green to white in color before dying. 

It is highly recommended that surfactant be used with Quinclorac for best results.

Storage: Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. The product will store for 2 years under warehouse conditions.

Quinclorac can be used on the following grass types: 

Cool Season Lawns - Kentucky Bluegrass, Turf Type Tall Fescue, Ryegrass (annual and perennial).

Warm Season Lawns - Bermudagrass, Buffalograss, and Zoysia.

DO NOT apply this product on Bahiagrass, Bentgrass, Carpetgrass, Centipede, Kikuyugrass, or St. Augustine lawn. It will damage or kill these grass types.

ApplicationThis is a professional formulation and should be applied from Battery-powered 4 gallon sprayer with  TeeJet foliar spray tipThis herbicide is not to be applied via a hose-end sprayer. 

When to Apply: Do not apply if temperatures are over 90F. If temps are that high, apply in the evening when they dip below 85F and elect to spot spray instead of blanket spraying.

Coverage: 16 oz. bottle covers 1 acres (43,560 square feet)

Use a non-ionic surfactant with Quinclorac for best results. Non-ionic surfactant helps the herbicide stick to the weeds better. 

Do not mow for 2 days after treating with this product. After treatment, do not transfer clippings to non-target areas.

Which grass types are these herbicides safe for?

  • Quinclorac DF is is safe for the following grass types: Bermudagrass, Kentucky Bluegrass, Buffalograss, Tall Fescue, Ryegrass and Zoysia.

Does Quinclorac DF need to be watered in?

  • No. Quinclorac DF works via foliar uptake. Simply spray the weeds you're targeting and allow it to dry.

Can I apply granular fertilizer or Essential-G on the same day as Quinclorac DF?

  • Yes. We recommend that granular fertilizer and Essential-G be applied before Quinclorac DF.

Can I apply other liquids and Quinclorac DF on the same day?

How long does it take for weeds to die after spraying with Quinclorac DF?

  • It depends on the weed being targeted and temperature. Most weeds begin to yellow within 14 days of application.

Should I use surfactant with Quinclorac DF?

  • Yes. For best results we recommend using a surfactant with Quinclorac DF. 

Are there temperature restrictions with this product?

  • Yes. We don't recommend spraying your lawn with Quinclorac DF when temperatures exceed 85F as temporary injury may occur.

How long should I wait before resuming mowing?

  • For best results do not mow 2 days before application and 2 days after. For example, if you plan to spray Quinclorac DF on Saturday, your last mow would be on Thursday. You would resume mowing on the following Tuesday.
