The best time to apply Dimension is when soil temperatures are below 70F and above 55F. This will give you approximately 4 months of pre-emergence protection if you follow the recommended application rate of 4lbs/1,000 sq ft. Dithiopyr is among the best weed killers that won't kill grass.

Application Information: Dimension Pre-Emergent with Dithiopyr can be used on the following established grasses: Cool Season Lawns - Kentucky Bluegrass, Turf Type Tall Fescue (all fescues), Ryegrass. Warm Season Lawns - Common and Hybrid Bermuda, St Augustine, Zoysia, Centipede, Bahia.
