CytoGro can be used on all grass types, such as the following:
Cool Season Lawns - Kentucky Bluegrass, Turf Type Tall Fescue (all fescues), Ryegrass
Warm Season Lawns - Bermuda, St Augustine, Zoysia, Centipede, Bahia
We recommend applying CytoGro through foliar spray. It can applied alone or tank mixed with other products. We have tested CytoGro with our liquid fertilizers and biostimulants and observed no adverse interactions.
Confirm compatibility with other products using a jar test.
For most lawns, we recommend an application rate of .4 oz. per 1000 square feet. Read the product label for additional guidance on CytoGro application rates.

When to Apply: Whenever your grass is actively growing. Top dressing and aeration does not reduce product effectiveness.

Coverage:
1 quart covers between 40,000 and 80,000 square feet depending on application rate.
1 gallon covers between 160,000 and 320,000 square feet depending on application rate.
Application rates:
Initial Application: Apply 0.8 oz. CytoGro in 1 to 2.5 gallons of water per 1000 sq.ft.
Monthly Application: Apply 0.4 oz. CytoGro in 1 to 2.5 gallons of water per 1000 sq.ft.
Does CytoGro need to be watered in?
- No. CytoGro works via foliar uptake. Simply spray your lawn and allow it to dry.
Can I apply granular fertilizer or Essential-G on the same day as CytoGro?
- Yes. We recommend that granular fertilizer and Essential-G be applied before CytoGro.
Can I apply other liquids and CytoGro on the same day?
- Yes. Other liquid products like biostimulants and Primo Maxx growth regulator can be mixed and sprayed at the same time as CytoGro.
